Quality Assurance
At Healthy Directions, we strictly hold our vendors and manufacturers to the highest level of quality standards. Every facility must agree to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
which are regarded as setting the bar in the nutritional supplement industry.
From start to finish, ARX is manufactured with the utmost attention to safety, efficacy, and quality.
Cultivation and harvesting of the raw materials
The herbs and mushrooms are grown in the most pristine, pollution-free environments. The growing land is proven to be the finest, under various conditions, for optimizing the health of the plants and the levels of key marker constituents. As a result, we can ensure reliably low levels of heavy metals and agrochemicals.
The harvesting facility has established comprehensive specifications for all aspects of the raw material sourcing, manufacturing, and testing processes. Both raw materials and finished products are subjected to strict scrutiny and testing; including a complete battery of identity, purity, and quality tests using TLC, HPLC, GC, AAS, and other techniques. In addition, there are multiple measures in place for careful control of sourcing, handling, extraction, and drying. All aspects of the growing and harvesting processes are carefully documented and reviewed by an experienced quality assurance team.
Manufacturing
ARX is manufactured domestically by one of the country’s premier nutritional supplement facilities. Certifications include the international standard of excellence, the Therapeutic Goods of Australia (TGA); the United States standard of excellence; plus they’re a state-certified cGMP facility.
Testing
Raw materials entering the manufacturing facility are tested for heavy metals, microbial contamination, and identity. These initial tests require approval for identity, purity, potency, and consistency of all raw materials.
Analytical testing includes ICP-MS for minerals; HPLC for vitamins and herbal extracts; accelerated and real-time stability. Microbiological testing includes total bacterial count, yeast and mold, and pathogens such as e. coli and salmonella.
Pre-shipment samples are tested for label accuracy, as well as pill count, consistent color and size, safety seal placement and security. Every batch must include a Certificate of Analysis.
In addition to testing conducted at the manufacturing facility, ARX is also tested by a third party, independent, world-class laboratory for 130 contaminants including heavy metals, microbes (including e. coli, salmonella, staphylococcus, molds, and more), and pesticides to ensure the purity and safety of ARX.. USP—US Pharmacopeia is a non-government organization that promotes the public health by establishing state-of-the-art standards to ensure the quality of medicines and other health care technologies.
AOAC—These official methods are recognized worldwide for their thorough and rigorous testing standards.
